_Licensed Professional Counselor, Diplomate of Clinical Hypnotherapy, NLP Master Practitioner, Past Life Regressionist,Interfaith Minister,Edgar Cayce Student & Teacher
In my profession, my ministry, and my personal life, spirituality is my highest priority. I'm able to
move smoothly between the traditional and metaphysical milieus and, when it's appropriate, integrate them
in my work. In the former, I transitioned from a career as a teacher and Learning Disabilities
Teacher-Consultant to my present profession as a Licensed Professional Counselor. However, despite
its importance to me, spirituality is not a requirement for a successful counseling outcome. I'm equally
adept in the use of a variety of current standard approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
In my private practice in Scotch Plains, I work with individuals and couples and have provided
aftercare for the Dr. Phil Show.
Always seeking to add to my areas of expertise, I've earned Diplomate status with the National Board
of Certified Clinical Hypnotherapists (NBCCH), and become a Master Practitioner of Neuro-
Linguistic Programming. Additionally, I've had training in Eye Movement Integration,
Hypnotapping, and, unrelated to my LPC practice, Reiki, and Therapeutic Touch. I've trained in
Past Life Regression techniques, first with the great Dolores Cannon and then with Dr. Brian
Weiss. I also enjoyed the privilege of training with the master theorist and practitioner, Harville
Hendricks. My approach to counseling couples is strongly rooted in his work.
As a devoted Life Member of the A.R.E., I host an Edgar Cayce “Search for God” study group
in my office. Our group has a very active prayer list and is the work force that sustains the Autumn
and Spring A.R.E. Field Conferences here in New Jersey.
By now you may have noticed that I've really been a student all my life. All of my training, as
teacher, group leader, and counselor, together with my love for the Cayce material have prepared me
for a new and cherished role. I am a certified instructor of the Intuitive Heart Discovery Process,
developed by Henry Reed at the Edgar Cayce Institute for Intuitive Studies. Still, even though I
host classes and lead workshops, I continue to learn from and with my students.
